RDH - Dental Hygienist
From: Alabama
Number of years in dentistry:
My passion for dentistry began at a young age, sparking a curiosity that would guide my professional journey. From ages 11 to 17, I shadowed a variety of dental specialties, carefully exploring my options before discovering my true calling in dental hygiene. I was drawn to the profound, positive impact she could make on my patients' lives.
After marrying into the military, I relocated to North Carolina, where I worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist on a military base. My career then took me to California, where I completed my licensure in the state. Once I moved to California, I became fixated on learning new technology in dentistry. I was first introduced to guided biofilm therapy in 2022 and have been advocating for the system ever since. I plan on broadening my knowledge in years to come, but I am making an effort to become a certified trainer in guided biofilm therapy so more people can experience the amazing benefits.
