Who’s a Good Candidate for Invisalign?

It’s important to note that these clear aligners are generally designed to treat mild cases of teeth misalignment. More severe cases are much more likely to require metal or ceramic braces.

Patients with dental implants are still eligible for Invisalign. While you can get Invisalign while having veneers, we’ll first want to assess the state of the veneers before determining whether they could impact your readiness for Invisalign.

What to Expect from Invisalign Treatment

If you’re a candidate for Invisalign, you should wear your retainers for 20-22 hours a day. This ensures that they work as intended. While this may seem like a lot of time, it does give you the opportunity to take off your aligners when eating or giving a presentation.

We’ll determine a timeline for Invisalign treatment, based on the current state of your teeth as well as the end goal. If worn for the appropriate amount of time, you’ll be able to progress through a series of aligners that will gradually straighten your teeth.
