"The Fire Of Inspire"
Elona Gaball, DDS, CHPC, Cosmetic and Restorative Dentist
I love building relationships with and caring for people. I see what makes each person unique, appreciate their individuality, and create personalized treatment plans based on their optimal oral health needs and desires. I’ve been practicing dentistry since 2000 after graduating from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry as a top student. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of treating patients in a variety of settings—from remote, underserved populations with advanced disease to high-end dentistry in more affluent areas—often being mentored by some of the finest dentists in the country.
I am an Accreditation Candidate Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, which brings a tremendous amount of experience to my comprehensive oral care. I pride myself on my mastery of the art of dentistry, high character, and gentle approach. Because I treat my patients like family, they find me approachable and accessible.
My practice philosophy can be summarized in three words: "love," "honesty," and "wellness." I only recommend treatments that are indicated and will contribute to your specific wellness. I take an open, truthful approach to comprehensive conservative care, ensuring my patients understand their options in a soothing environment. I believe that the most beautiful smile is a healthy, natural smile—and that all well-done dentistry is cosmetic.
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
My additional training includes advanced aesthetic techniques from the prestigious UCLA Aesthetic Continuum and Magne Education – International Center for Advanced Aesthetic Training in Beverly Hills, CA, where I refined my skills in smile design, occlusion, and implants. I also completed an Oral Surgery externship, as well as advanced training in occlusion, implants, and smile design.
I further expanded my expertise with a UCLA TMD/Orofacial Pain residency. I am certified in Invisalign treatment, Oral Conscious Sedation, and injectables for both pain management and aesthetic purposes through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
I am committed to ongoing learning and regularly participate in continuing education courses to provide the best care for my patients. I am an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society, Spear Education Study Club, and the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, as well as practicing yoga, running, hiking, and eating healthy. I also love serving in my church. I'm passionate about personal development, attending Tony Robbins events, and participating in Landmark training.
As a proud and patriotic naturalized American citizen, I immigrated to the United States from Russia at the age of 15. I am also fluent in Russian!

I am passionate about providing the highest quality of care to my patients at every encounter. My skills in periodontics are unmatched. My practice encompasses the full scope of treating periodontal diseases and conditions, including dental implant placement, LANAP® laser regenerative therapy, and periodontal regeneration using bone grafting, platelet-rich fibrin, and the highest quality medical devices and equipment to save teeth and grow bone where others may not even attempt. I have extensive experience performing minimally invasive microsurgery to treat gingival recession, utilizing the surgical dissecting microscope, customized microsurgical instruments, and the latest connective tissue autografting techniques to achieve natural and aesthetic results, ensuring a periodontally stable and beautiful outcome.
“We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do.”
- Mahatma Gandhi
As a result of his experience in an array of public and private clinics serving diverse patient populations, Dr. Steve’s judgment in surgery is keen. What Inspires Me: What inspires me most about working in dentistry is witnessing the life-changing power of transformation through a smile. A smile can restore confidence, heal insecurities, and completely change the way someone sees themselves. It can also heal fear. Many patients walk through our doors carrying anxiety or past negative experiences with dentistry, and being able to help turn that fear into trust, comfort, and confidence is incredibly meaningful to me.Being part of the journey where someone goes from hiding their smile or fearing the dental chair to smiling proudly and feeling at peace is deeply rewarding. Knowing that the work we do can impact not only someone’s appearance, but their emotional well-being, self-esteem, and quality of life is what continues to inspire me every single day.
What I Love Most About Being a Part of the Inspire Smiles Team: What I love most is being surrounded by powerful women who genuinely care about each other and about every patient who walks through our doors. It’s inspiring to work alongside a team that leads with compassion, excellence, and heart. Together, we don’t just create beautiful smiles, we create comfort, confidence, and life-changing experiences. Being part of a team that feels like family while making such a meaningful impact every day and having so much fun while doing so is what I love most!
"I was not created to simply exist. I was created to heal, to inspire, to transform, and to help others remember their own light."
