The Truth about Whitening

At our practice we do things differently! As a part of our New Patient Experience we start with a Patient Welcome Interview. Our main intention is to get to know the new patents, build rapport and connect with what is most important to them. Almost every new patient we meet says they want white and straight teeth!

We are excited to announce that we offer two advanced whitening options.

Zoom Whitening: a professional teeth whitening treatment that can brighten your smile in just one visit to our office.

The Zoom Whitening treatment uses a special light-activated gel with ensures that your teeth are treated even at the sub-surface level, removing deep stains caused by food, drinks, and/or smoking. The treatment takes about an hour to complete and leaves your teeth up to 4 shades lighter! It is best for people with mild to medium stains and are not normally sensitive.

Kor Whitening: This is a combination of at-home and in-office whitening. It is best for people with really deep or intrinsic stains, such as developmental tetracycline staining, which has historically been considered to be resistant to all whitening. It is also a great option for people with sensitive teeth. The whitening gel is custom mixed to achieve the desired outcome.  It gets shipped fresh in a cold container and remains chilled to preserve the efficacy. The at-home whiting trays are extremely precise and accurate as they get fabricated by trained lab technicians based on either a 3D imaging scanner file (which we can quickly do in our office), or from stone models made from traditional impressions of the teeth.

Before any whitening treatment, we will conduct a thorough examination of your teeth to help you choose the best option for you. If you have any dental work such as fillings, crowns, or veneers, we will also advise you accordingly.

After the treatment, we will provide you with care instructions to help you maintain your newly brightened smile. This includes using a whitening toothpaste, and scheduling regular dental hygiene visits.
